Hi, welcome to Lexi Mind. I'm Lexi. With 18 years of experience in psychological study, research, and helping others, I see myself as a helper at heart. I hold a Bachelor's and Doctorate in Psychology from Nanyang Technological University, and am a locally registered counselling professional. I previously worked with the Ministry of Social and Family Development (MSF), conducting research and policy evaluation for the Supervised Exchange & Supervised Visitation (SESV) programme across Family Service Centres (FSCs).
In my clinical work, I collaborate with adolescents navigating identity, career uncertainty, and personal growth. I also work closely with parents, supporting them through the complexities of parenting, parent-child relationships, and family dynamics.
I frequently work with clients experiencing depression or anxiety — exploring life circumstances, uncovering patterns, and working through difficulties that arise in family, work, and interpersonal contexts. I also have extensive experience with sleep disorders and eating disorders.
Counselling Philosophy: Humanistic and Existentialist.
Rather than adhering to a single modality, I keep each client at the centre — integrating techniques from
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Gestalt therapy, and systemic family concepts. I also draw on non-verbal
approaches for subconscious exploration. Here, you can express yourself freely; everything you share will be
heard with patience and without judgement. I offer a safe space for deeper self-awareness, discovering inner
strength, and growing into a more whole version of yourself.
Mind and body are deeply intertwined. I welcome you to begin your journey of self-discovery through counselling. 🪷

I have been in counselling with Lexi for almost a year. I first became interested after listening to her podcast, then listened to every episode and really liked her gentle, natural way of speaking while still getting to the heart of the issue. Since starting formal counselling, I have always felt gently protected. It feels safe and comfortable to open up, feel into myself, and keep reflecting. Without noticing it, I seem to have found many answers, and also realised those answers may not matter as much as simply sleeping well after a session. To me, counselling helps people adjust their state, relax, accept themselves, and regain steady strength. I hope more people can find a lighthouse during low moments, as I did.
I prefer to see Lexi as a trustworthy friend walking with me through life's ups and downs. I can honestly express my heart, and she always responds with gentle yet firm support, offering a unique perspective on truths I hadn't noticed. She is like winter sun and spring breeze, bringing colour back to the dim corners of my life.
Dr. Lexi is one of the most important people in my life. She gave me a new perspective on life. I am so lucky to have met such a kind psychotherapist. Hope everyone has a healthy mind and a better life.
Before finding Lexi, I had already tried two other counsellors. Each time something felt off — I couldn't quite relax or go deep in conversation. I even started to wonder if counselling just wasn't for me. Then I found Lexi, and for the first time I felt like things had truly clicked. Our conversations felt natural, without any obvious sense of being analysed or steered. She would pause at subtle moments and ask what I was really feeling inside — and emotions I had long ignored or avoided slowly became clear.
Lexi and I have been friends for years. After I was diagnosed with severe depression, she called me frequently from overseas, listening patiently as I vented or cried. Lexi has a magic for distilling hard-to-express feelings and spotting the crux of a problem. If life is a tangle of yarn, she finds the loose end and hands it to you to keep weaving.
At first I worried it might feel awkward or that the conversation would run dry. But after a few sessions, those concerns simply faded. The whole process doesn't feel like being "counselled" — it feels more like having a safe, unhurried space to finally say things you normally couldn't. The counsellor is calm and patient, never rushing you forward or pulling the conversation in any particular direction. Each session left me feeling a little lighter and clearer.
Counselling with Lexi has been a deeply comfortable experience. Across three sessions, she listened patiently to everything — the causes and context behind my emotional fluctuations. She would carefully ask what I was truly feeling in those difficult moments, helping me untangle the internal and external sources of stress, anxiety, and frustration. This has been invaluable in helping me understand myself better and manage my emotions and relationships with others.
Lexi is a soulful expert in emotional wellbeing. Rather than grand advice, she offers drip-irrigation wisdom — learning to self-assess in daily life, not being pulled along by society's standards, and rebuilding a resilient inner core.
A wonderfully warm and professional session. Thank you, Lexi, for giving me the motivation and courage to start again.
